Giovanni Covati joined Alto Partners in 2019. Within his role, he assesses the accounting and tax framework of investments and exits, often acting as statutory Auditor of portfolio companies. Giovanni Covati supports portfolio companies in the management of financial leverage, capex and the appropriate use of financial and tax instruments. Giovanni Covati is also responsible for the implementation of the ESG policy at portfolio company level. Prior to joining Alto Partners, he served from 2003 to 2019 with private equity firm J. Hirsch & Co as Partner. Giovanni Covati has previous experience as a partner in the accounting and tax firm Olivero, Parodi, Covati e Associati in Turin. Giovanni Covati is a Chartered Accountant under Italian law and holds a degree in Business Administration from Modena University.
