La Suissa is a family-led company founded in 1981 producing chocolates, chocolate bars and Easter eggs. Over the years, the Company was able to meet the market trends by focusing on the production of chocolates and to a lesser extent on special occasions. Since inception, La Suissa has concentrated its efforts in delivering high quality products conceived with great care in the research and selection of raw materials, so as to meet the growing needs of the market while maintaining a balanced price level. La Suissa carries out its production mainly under its own brand in the plant of about 9,000 square meters in Arquata Scrivia (Alessandria, Piedmont); foreign markets represent 40% of total sales. In June 2019, the Company was sold to Colussi Gruppi, a premier trade player in the food industry.
