La Suissa (Arquata Scrivia, Alessandria, Piemonte) is a family-headed company producing chocolates, chocolate bars and chocolate Easter eggs. Since founded in 1981, La Suissa has concentrated meticulous efforts into the research and selection of raw materials to deliver high-quality products that meet the market’s growing needs, while maintaining a balanced price level. La Suissa’s production, primarily under its own brand, is carried out in its 9,000 sq m plant in Arquata Scrivia. Foreign markets represent 40% of total revenues.
In June 2019, La Suissa was sold to Gruppo Colussi, a premier player in the food industry.
