IPE, founded in 1959 by Carlo, Pompeo and Vittorio Cavalli, is a company based near Bologna active in the high-end luxury furniture segment. In particular, the Company develops and distributes ‘total look’ collections with its own brands.

Alto Capital III acquired a minority participation in the Company in the context of the sale to Ergon Capital Partners in 2014.

In July 2024 Alto Capital III sold its stake in Ipe to Faro Alternative Investments Fund.
